1. Platform Presentation
Runswap is an online platform facilitating connections between runners who wish to transfer or obtain a race bib. Runswap neither sells nor buys bibs, but provides a transfer and management service.
2. Terms Acceptance
Using the Runswap platform implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Users acknowledge having read the conditions and agree to comply with them.
3. Bib Transfer Regulations
3.1 Compliance with Organizers' Rules
Users must check the terms and conditions of sale and participation of the event before transferring or acquiring a bib through Runswap; Runswap cannot be held responsible for any decisions made by the organizer.
3.2 Official Transfer
When the organizer allows a participant change, Runswap provides assistance to formalize the transfer in compliance with regulations.
3.3 Prohibition of Resale for Profit
Users agree not to sell a bib at a price higher or lower than 10% of the official purchase price. Runswap may suspend or delete the account of any user who does not comply with this rule.
4. Registration and Service Use
4.1 Account Creation
Access to Runswap services requires the creation of a user account by providing accurate and complete information.
4.2 User Responsibility
Users agree to use the platform in good faith and not to misuse it for fraudulent purposes.
4.3 Account Deletion
Runswap reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of non-compliance with the Terms and Conditions.
5. Transaction Process
5.1 Connection and Payment
Users wishing to transfer a bib must provide all necessary information. The buyer makes a payment through the platform, which is held securely until the transfer is validated.
5.2 Fund Release
The seller receives the transaction amount after validation of the transfer by both parties and, if applicable, by the organizer.
5.3 Cancellation Guarantee
Runswap offers a cancellation guarantee option allowing runners to be partially refunded in case of inability to participate.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 Non-responsibility for Transfer Acceptance
Runswap does not guarantee the acceptance of a bib transfer by the organizer and cannot be held responsible for a refusal.
6.2 Health and Physical Capacity
Users certify that they have no medical contraindication to running. Runswap cannot be held responsible in case of accident or health problem.
7. Personal Data Protection
Runswap collects and processes users' personal data in accordance with its privacy policy. This data is only shared with parties involved in transactions.
8. Terms Modification
Runswap reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of changes through the platform.
